Students in Taipei Municipal Jianguo Senior High School (our sister school) visited our school and did international exchange on Thursday, December 12nd. Twenty high school students, their principal, and three teachers came to our school. The interaction with them started in 2013. It is the 10th time this year. This is the second time for Taipei Municipal Jianguo Senior High School students to visit our school. They stayed at our students’ home on Thursday night and deepened their friendship.
On Friday, December 13th, we hold a welcome ceremony. Mican, the special vice-governor to promote a smile, was also present and had an interaction lively at the ceremony. Students in Taipei Municipal Jianguo Senior High School joined our classes and homeroom activities, practiced kendo and a tea ceremony, and cooked together. They enjoyed so many interactive activities.
Some of our high school students are going to visit Taipei Municipal Jianguo Senior High School next year. We would like to deepen our friendship forever.

On December 5th, we invited Mr. Ritterbex Sebastian, who is a researcher at Deep Earth Dynamics Center, and Mr. Kanoi Bernard, who is a researcher at Proteo Science Center in Ehime University. First graders in the science course joined the Super Science class with them. They listened to the model presentations in English. Each researcher lectured students on their own studies and showed an example of an English presentation.
Students admired the ways researchers gave their presentations. Not to mention the contents of the lectures, they told what they wanted to tell very well by using gestures, facial expressions, intonations of words, asking the audience questions, and ingenious drafts.
After the lecture, delegations who were going to give a presentation in English asked some questions in English. They also acquired know-how for making a presentation well.
