CR Forest group of first graders and first graders in the science course joined “Ehime Super High School Consortium in Chuyo district”, which was held at Matsuyama City General Community Center on January 24th, Friday.
Two second graders of our high school gave their presentation on the stage.  The presentation is about simple health checking up of artificial forests by utilizing 100-yen goods, aiming to achieve both conserving biodiversity and disaster mitigation.  They were able to announce their results calmly and many people listened to it.  First graders in the science course who participated in it as audience asked questions actively.

Second graders in the science course worked hard during today’s SS.  They conducted experiments and analysis of experiment data, finished their papers, and prepared for their announcement.  Parantica Sita group used their hand-made wind tunnel experimenal device and watched the flow of air when swallowtails were flying.  We were looking forward to seeing differences in results compared with those of Parantica Sita.
Heavy Metal group conducted experiments to get shell powder to adsorb metal ion.  We were looking forward to the results, too.

2020年2月21日 17時09分

After three days of Study Tour in Kansai, I think we seriously thought about what we high school students could do for sustainable science development.  We discussed it with classmates.  We want to take advantages of this stimulating opportunity that we received in this tour for our future study, research and future careers.
