7/24 Science presentation contest
2020年8月6日 12時44分 On Friday, July 24, the Science presentation contest was held in Ehime Prefectural Museum of Science, and there the two groups of the 3rd grade students from the science course participated in the contest. Their presentations were about spider webs and Tobe-yaki pottery glazing. The first group did a presentation about “How strong are spider webs?’’ When we were asked strong questions by university professors who were also the examiners, we could explain our research in our words. The second did a poster presentation titled “Research of removing blue oxide by referencing the Zegal formula.’’ Our research on Tobe-yaki glazing seemed to interest the university professors. We were awarded the Ehime Governor’s Prize in the poster section.
The Judges were university professors, high school teachers and other high school presenters. They gave us their opinions and were helpful for our research and writing papers. This contest was satisfying for us.

I was interested in the other teams’ presentations. It was a good opportunity to let people know about our research. (309HR Kana Watanabe)
I could present our research well and I’m glad to have got an award. I could learn from the other groups. (309HR Hibiki Kumatani)
I was happy we got the prize in the contest. It was our last contest, so I was happy to get a good result. I will make an effort to write a good paper on our research. (309HR Masaki Yoshida)
