On Wednesday, April 28, 2021, some of 2nd grade students, who are studying about “brown rice,” had an online meeting with Prof. ISHIDA Momoko of Ehime University.  She graduated from our high school during the 2nd-term of Super Science High School.  Prof. Ishida showed us how to do experiments about immune functions and gave us some instructions and suggestions on the procedure of our research about “brown rice.”  This was a precious time for all of us and inspired us a lot.  We thank Prof. Ishida for her kindness.
I am really happy because we could do some experiment with Prof. Ishida.  We will keep studying enthusiastically from now on.  (209HR SHINOZAKI Aoto)

the Shikoku region online presentation

2021年5月14日 16時55分

On April 11th, the  second and third year students in the science and mathematics course joined the Shikoku region online presentation.
Last year, it was canceled due to the coronavirus, however the representatives made a presentation and delivered videos online this year.  From our school, the light interference group gave a presentation which lasted about fifteen minutes.  It was valuable experience gained from the presentations, for example, the environment, disaster, preparedness, and so on.  We took part in the meetings to make good use of the contents of presentations and comments from the teachers for their research with integrity.

We will cherish many presentation opportunities which may be held in the future.  (309HR Kunita Shoma)

Data marketing program

2021年5月14日 16時49分

On Saturdays April 3 and 10, 2021, “Field Work,” industry-academic collaborative education program, was held at Matsuyama Minami Senior High School, Fuji Grand Matsuyama and Fuji Fujiwara.  This is “Data marketing program using big data for purchasing that students and three companies, which are SEKI CO., LTD, Fuji Company Limited and True Data Inc., work together.”
In the first meeting, store managers of Fuji explained to us about their contributions to each community, stores and backyards.  We could watch and understand how they do their tasks and layouts at shops and how they attracts their customers.  After this meeting, we submitted some reports about what we’ve learned, and our suggestions to enhance their sales figures.  We will be instructed by these companies a few days later.

I feel it fun for me to join this meeting. From now on, I will be able to go shopping with different points of view. (209HR  Saeki Kotaro)
