On August 24th, “Get Together! Science Girls!”, a scientific research meeting for girl students who like science, was held at the Faculty of Science in Ehime University.  It was organized by Seishin Junior High School and Seishin Girls’ High School.
Three second graders who belong to “water droplets group” and four students of the science course participated in it.  There were eight presentations from six schools including our high school.  Water Droplets group gave their presentation about splashes of water.  It was the first time for the group to make a presentation outside their own school.  But they could announced their results of research with a reliable attitude.  They also answered questions in the Q & A session and received some advice.
Our four students are the only boy in the event.  They actively asked some questions and learned many things.  After the scientific presentations, they were separated into a small group and talked with female students of Ehime University about their research and their school lives.  They also interacted with students from other schools.
Every participants were inspired by other schools’ presentations.  They decided to do their best.
