I am doing my research under Dr. Mani, who is an assistant professor at the University of Connecticut.  I use various experimental instruments every day.  First, I made samples and measured absorption using spectrophotometer, and used a fluorometer to measure emission.  At first, I was puzzled about how to use these experimental instruments, but using it many times, I was able to do it well.
  Of course, it is more difficult to analyze the results than to conduct experiments, and we are conducting research with the guidance of Dr. Mani.  On weekends, I went to the shopping mall and the organic supermarket with him.  I ate a hamburger and French fries with cheese.  It felt American style.
